Wow. Just… wow. I finally got a look at the new Mahindra XEV 9E Pack Two for 2025, and it’s genuinely something else. I’ve been following Mahindra’s EV stuff, and they’ve always been ambitious, but this feels like a real step up. It’s not just an electric car; it’s a statement.
The Look
First off, the design is just slick. It’s got this sporty, coupe-like shape that just works. It looks fast even when it’s standing still. The front end has this really cool, clean light bar that runs all the way across—super modern. And the door handles? They’re flush with the car, which is a small detail but makes a huge difference. The wheels are also a big part of the look; they’re these sleek, aero-optimized 19-inch alloys that just complete the whole picture. Around the back, those slim, connected tail-lights and the glowing Mahindra logo are impossible to miss. It all feels really premium.
Stepping Inside
This is where it gets crazy. When you open the door, it’s like walking into a spaceship. The main event is a massive, 43.3-inch screen that stretches across the entire dash. Seriously, the driver’s info, the main screen, and even a screen for the passenger—it’s all one seamless piece of glass. It’s powered by a Qualcomm chip, so it’s super quick and smooth. They’ve even got stuff like streaming apps built right in.
The cabin feels luxurious. They’ve used a nice two-tone black and white theme with some subtle gray accents. The two-spoke steering wheel is a nice touch, and the panoramic glass roof is just awesome, especially with the way it lights up. The seats are ventilated, the sound system is a Harman Kardon with 16 speakers, and there’s just so much thought put into the little things.
What’s Underneath
It’s not just a show car, either. This thing can move. It comes with a choice of two batteries, and the bigger one gives you a claimed 656 km of range. That’s a huge number and should really take away any fear of not making it to your destination. The motor puts out a solid 282 bhp, and it can hit 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. That’s plenty fast.
I also found out it’s built on their new INGLO platform, which has some cool features like a semi-active suspension and a brake-by-wire system. It also has a crazy fast charging speed—it can go from 20% to 80% in about 20 minutes using a fast charger. That’s a lifesaver on a long trip.

The Safety Tech
They didn’t skimp on safety, either. It’s got Level-2 ADAS, which means it can basically drive itself in certain situations with things like adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. There are seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, and even a heads-up display.
All in all, the XEV 9E Pack Two is a big deal for Mahindra. It’s got the looks, the tech, the performance, and the safety. It really feels like they’re ready to take on the world. It’s an impressive machine and a true sign of where the future of electric vehicles is headed.
