You know, in today’s car market, it’s tough to stay on top. But Mahindra & Mahindra? They’re really showing how it’s done! Their three big stars – the Scorpio, Thar, and Bolero – pretty much carried the team in June 2025. They accounted for a massive 62.9% of all the passenger vehicles Mahindra sold that month! It just goes to show you how much people still love these models.

Mahindra sold a total of 47,306 passenger vehicles here in India in June. And guess what? The Scorpio, Thar, and Bolero together sold a whopping 29,760 units. That’s a huge chunk, proving they’re still the backbone of Mahindra’s sales.

The Mahindra Scorpio (that includes the new Scorpio-N too) was the top seller for the brand in June. It moved an amazing 12,740 units! Not only is it still super popular, but it actually sold 4% more than it did last year in June. People just can’t get enough of its tough look, modern features, and strong presence on the road.

Then there’s the Mahindra Thar (and the Thar Roxx). This one’s a real standout, selling 9,542 units. That’s a huge jump – 77% more than last year! It seems like everyone wants a lifestyle off-roader these days, and the new 5-door Thar Roxx is a big hit. Whether you’re looking for adventure or just a cool car for daily drives, the Thar seems to fit the bill.

And let’s not forget the good old Mahindra Bolero. This car is a true workhorse, especially in rural areas. It sold a consistent 7,478 units. While its growth was a small 2% compared to last year, the fact that it keeps selling so well shows how much people rely on its sturdy build and practicality.

Now, overall, Mahindra’s passenger vehicle sales were down a little bit (9.8%) from May to June 2025. But thanks to the amazing performance of these three key models, Mahindra still managed to see a healthy 18% year-on-year growth in SUV sales in India. This means Mahindra is still the second-biggest passenger vehicle maker in the country for the third month in a row in this financial year.

It’s clear that Mahindra really understands what Indian customers want. They’re able to deliver cars that work for all kinds of people – from those who want something adventurous and stylish to those who need a practical and dependable vehicle. Even as Mahindra brings out new models and electric cars, it’s pretty clear that the Scorpio, Thar, and Bolero will remain hugely important to their success.
