The Mahindra XUV700 has introduced a special edition for 2025, called the Ebony Edition. This edition features a sophisticated, dark-themed appearance.

The Ebony Edition has a “Stealth Black” finish. The front grille is blacked out with inserts, dark silver skid plates are at the front and back, and the ORVMs (side mirrors) are blacked out. The alloys are all-black, 18-inch wheels, and the chrome trim around the windows has been replaced with a black finish. “Ebony” badges have been added to the front fenders and the back.

The interior also features a black theme. It has black leatherette upholstery, blacked-out trims, and silver accents on the console and doors. The AC vents have a dark chrome finish, and the steering wheel is wrapped in black leatherette. The roofliner is light grey.

The Ebony Edition retains the XUV700’s features and performance. It includes twin 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and driver display, a 12-speaker Sony sound system, and dual-zone climate control. Level 2 ADAS is included, with features like Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist. Other features include ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and up to seven airbags.

The engines remain the same: a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol (197 bhp) or a 2.2-liter diesel (up to 182 bhp). Manual and automatic transmissions are available. The Ebony Edition is only available in Front-Wheel Drive (FWD).

The 2025 Mahindra XUV700 AX7 Ebony Edition is designed for those who want a bolder look. It is based on the 7-seater AX7 and AX7L variants and is priced from ₹ 19.64 Lakh (ex-showroom).
